ah, yet another time to release some fustration from work. if anyone can guess, i'm actually updating at work right now. wanted to just share some little tidbits with the ghosts around here that read my blog anyways.
1) Change. its constantly happening at any time, any place, at any moment. some people resent change, some just take it in their stride. I am one that tries my best to keep the good things and throw the bad things away, but apparently this can't be control by mere humans.
i tried contacting all my old friends yesterday for a coffee session to get back together, update everyone on everyone's life. people i called in order are : William, Darren, Kaka, Marvin, Chong. Number of people free? Darren only. blah. just a simple get together session is so hard to get nowadays, what with all the people working, having NS duties, this and that.
2) Jobs. as explained to me by someone a long time ago, he described being born as a human into this world as a cursing. you spend your first 15 years learning, then the next 45 doing stuff that doesn't need the knowledge you learned in The first place, and the final years learning the above fact. *Rolls eyes*
so, anyway, off the awful and stupid stuff and on to other topics. went for a interview yesterday (yes i know wtf aren't i supposed to be working now? shut up and read on >_>) Its at Mega Multimedia, and for those who know what that is, its a small game shop that i used to frequest back in my younger years. Friend's working there as well so i thought why not, since i'm stuck in a dead end job here in SLS too.
so after the interview, went to smash some brains in KOF. met Stanley there and enjoyed myself once more. a little too much of something isn't good, but a little indulgence once in a while isn't that bad as well. but i think i'm playing too much arcades again... went 5 times in 1 week. gotta stop soon.
proceeded down to 505 to get some games. purchased Naruto: Narultimate Hero 2 just for kicks and KOF:Maximum impact. short review of the games follow:
Naruto: Narultimate Hero 2.
As you can see from the title above, this game starts off from where the first one left off (duh). exactly where? welll for those who watch the anime regularly, its where Orochimaru begins his siege on Konoha Village. if you have no idea what i'm talking about up to this point, contact me to get the anime series. payment is 50 cents per epi (105 and counting now =P) for those who are watching, 105 is out now. go grab it here.
KOF:Maximum Impact
this game, i have no comment. if you've played even one series of KOF before, get ready to rethink your playing style again. KOF takes on Tekken, SFEX2 and GGXX on this most recent incarnation. you get tekken style combos, known as stylistic moves, the usual kof moves and a new sidestep feature. want to play this? got a DVD burner? download, burn and play. not worth the money IMHO.
